fifth volume of Historein is devoted to the theme
"Empire[s]"
The present
volume is largely based on the themes, topics, and concepts
explored in a conference co-organized by the Department of
History, Archaeology & Social Anthropology, University
of Thessaly and the journal Historein and entitled "Past
& Present Empires: Concepts, Critical Approaches
& New Perspectives" (Volos, 28-29 June 2003).
