The
fourth volume of Historein is devoted to the theme
"Public
Histories"
The present
volume is largely based on the themes, topics, and concepts
explored in Historein's conference
"Claiming History. Aspects of Contemporary Historical
Culture"
held in Athens on November 30-December 2, 2001.
Contributors
include Ulf Brunnbauer, Ivan Elenkov, Hagen Fleischer, Daniela
Koleva, Hara Kouki, Michael Löwy, Gregory Paschalidis,
Ioanna Petropoulou, Mark Poster.
The volume is accompanied by a cd-rom with
the conference proceedings (in Greek).
The cd-rom is distributed for free and only together with
the 4th volume.
